Cloud Delivery Lab

The complete DevOps lifecycle, from GitLab

Cloud Delivery Lab brings together planning, source code, quality and security checks, container image builds, infrastructure as code and application deployment on AWS and Google Cloud. GitLab coordinates the work; the two execution platforms are EKS + RDS and GKE + Cloud SQL.

This documentation explains the design and concrete behavior of six repositories. The Java application is a demonstrator; the project focuses on integrating lifecycle stages and preserving traceability between them.

  • Understand the project

Explore the goals, repository responsibilities and architecture.

  • Prepare infrastructure

Review the four layers, their states, credentials and execution order.

    Open the infrastructure guide

  • Reproduce and operate

Check prerequisites, investigate incidents and plan resource teardown.

Documentation baseline

This edition combines the project thesis with a review of all six public repositories on 26 October 2026. Source links are pinned to specific commits. Public branch, issue and selected pipeline metadata were also inspected.

The HCL is organized as Terraform root modules; the infrastructure pipeline runs OpenTofu 1.12.1. The documentation distinguishes versioned configuration, historical evidence and proposed procedures. A successful historical run does not establish the current state of a cloud account.
